Martyn Birchall is an experienced investment banker and businessman who has lived in Romania since 1997.

He moved to Romania as his wife is Romanian and before arriving in Bucharest he held director level positions with Citi and Merrill Lynch in London, Hong Kong and New York.

He currently manages a series of businesses across the education and training sector and managers the leading regional corporate governance consultancy. In addition, he is actively involved in developing NGO activities related to developing awareness of corporate governance across the CEE and Asian regions.
